So this month, Laurel and Rebecca are going to "summer camp" which basically means that for a few days a week, they will be playing in the sprinklers with other adults (not me) taking care of them and I will have hours of time on my hands. I am not just gonna turn into a couch potato, I am going to live it up and work my butt off! That's the plan, at least. Maybe I can do both at the same time??? So I want to seize the opportunity and make some fun stuff to show you guys. OBVIously I'm gonna turn that into a design services giveaway on my Instagram. That's obvious, right?

If you aren't familiar with the concept, E-Decor is a design service that is completely remote. Essentially, the designer never has to set foot in the space - and can be hundreds of miles away - but can still totally spiff it up. A lot of design studios offer this service, because it's relatively easy to pull off. Plus, full-service design is expensive, man. And not everyone needs that much help. If you just want someone to pick furniture, lighting and accessories, E-Decor very well may be the best option for you. With a detailed questionnaire, accurate measurements of the space, and well-lit photos of the space to be decorated, a good designer can accomplish great things. We will basically just do all of your shopping and thinking for you, and you get to do all the enjoying and relaxing.

Here's what the process will look like:

The Process

  • Online Questionnaire // We have provided a form where you can tell us all about your space, including what you like, what you don't like, what you wish to see in the redesign, budget, etc. Click here to fill out the questionnaire.

  • Photos and Measurements // If you need a little guidance, click here to see our quick tips for taking measurements and photos of your room(s) and email them to us at hello@allisondozierinteriors.com.

  • Proposal // We send you some inspiration images for the space to get the design started. Normally this stage would include our fee proposal. But the design fee will be $0 if you win the sweepstakes! The proposal will also include our terms and conditions. Once we get a signature and your approval on the design direction, we can get to work designing.


  • Design Plan // We design and send a generalized moodboard and you can make any comments you like, so we can tailor the final design to your vision.


  • Space Plan and Shopping List // We send you a space plan, finalized moodboard(s) and a line by line shopping list, along with specific instructions for how to achieve your home's new look. Each item on the shopping list can be purchased online, for your convenience.



  • Final Questions and Revision // For up to 30 days after we send the final shopping list, we will answer any questions you may have. In addition, one free revision is included in the package and we will be happy to make final adjustments for you.

Normally, the design fees for our E-Decor services are hourly fees, which would be determined by detailed log sheets kept by the decorator each month. On the final day of every month, the decorator would email the logsheet and invoice for that month. HOWEVER, if you are the lucky winner of the E-Decor giveaway, you won't have to pay a thing. Lucky you!
